Tutoring Program

Many of the members of South Bay United Teachers provide private tutoring. This program is strictly an agreement between the teacher and the individual requesting services. All tutoring parameters are set by the teacher (location, time, cost).

No teacher may tutor their own students for remuneration. Teachers must abide by any policies set by their district’s governing board.

WARNING TO TUTORS:
Be cautious when responding to requests for tutoring via email. If you receive messages that seem suspicious (i.e., asking you to deposit checks, or contacting you from another country), please do not respond. We have received reports of phishing emails.
These should be reported to the Internet Crime Complaint Center.
