Professional Development Committee
From the RBUSD/RBTA Collective Bargaining Agreement:
3.1.6.2
All Professional Development activities shall be determined by, developed, and implemented through a Professional Development Committee (PDC). The Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services and a representative selected by the Association shall mutually agree upon the composition and grade level of the committee members. Bargaining unit members serving on the PDC shall be appointed by the Association and shall comprise the majority of the members of the PDC. Release time during the regular workday shall be provided at no loss of pay or benefits. When PDC meetings are held outside the regular workday, unit members serving on the PDC shall be paid the curriculum hourly rate of pay identified in Appendix C.
